Offline project management tool
Did you already try different ways to organize your projects offline? Text files, a note app with plugins, etc., but it was clunky? There is a solution just for you!
I was in the same situation as you.
You want something like Trello, Asana, or maybe Obsidian or Notion but offline and designed to be interconnected tools for project management. Every needed tool in one place.
But after searching 2 gazillion sites, you couldn't find one...
I have good news and bad news
Bad news - ideal tool will probably not exist.
Good news - Constito is getting closer and closer to be a complete solution for offline project management!
Your requirements are:
- offline
- simple setup - you don't want to host your own server...
- simple app with most important features for one-man team
Because you are a freelancer, individual, or simply one man army, you don't need team collaboration features.
If you like the simplicity of kanban, then keep reading.
What does Constito have that can help you?
Task management
Kanban board where you can put your tasks in columns.
You can add checklists to tasks, which can be used as sub-tasks.
Also, you should include the due date if there is a specific deadline for the task.
Multiple boards for different projects
You have multiple clients and work on multiple projects at once. I get it.
So, you can organize your tasks on separate boards to better organize your work and have insights about the current state of each project.
Notes
For longer text, you can write down your thoughts in notes.
Search everywhere
Because you have all your tasks and notes in one place, you can search everywhere at once!
Just type what you are looking for, and Constito will search in tasks from all your projects and notes.
This is the power of having everything you need in one place.
What it lacks at the moment
Calendar
There is no calendar at the moment, but this is something on the radar.
Notifications
There is an indicator that shows the colored due date of tasks, but there are no notifications yet. This is also on the radar.
Mobile app
Because Constito is offline, then it's not that trivial to have data on the phone and PC in sync. A mobile app is not in the making now.
See it in the action
See images and gifs in features in depth to see more about features. Or watch demo to see it in action.
Afterword
I'm also self-employed, so I'm constantly using it, testing what works and what does not. After trying many apps, I noticed that simple solutions are the best. No need for a complex environment.
If you would like to try it, just email me or simply buy it, and if you are not satisfied, you can get back your money.
The project is in its early stages, and price will increase with time, so don't lose your time to be an early adopter with a better price!
Even if it's not going to be your best app, then you will still receive updates because it's not subscription.
Simply pay once and use forever, so you will get all future updates with less price if you buy it before the project gets mature and more expensive.
